Favor
Many have us have heard the expression that " favor aint fair!" And whereas the scripture says, Jacob have I loved and Esau have I hated. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid! For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy and compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him, that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy
( Romans 9:13-15)
It is certain that our own personal actions and attitudes have a direct bearing on how God looks upon us to bless and to favor our lives. For when Abel's sacrifice had been accepted of the Lord and his brother Cain's was refused, God asked Cain, why art thou wroth? And why has thy countenance fallen? If thou doest well, shall thou not be accepted? And if thou doest not well sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him (Gen 4:6-7)
When we do what pleases the Lord, then his favor is assured!
Acts 10:35, declares, but in every nation he that feareth him ( God) and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. (Romans 12:1) I beseech you therefore brethern by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
(Hebrews 13:15-16) By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. But to do good and to communicate forget not for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
So, my friends live and walk in the blessing and the favor of God!

Believe
We live in uncertain ages. Our world is rocked almost constantly with tragedies of unthinkable proportions. As we view recent world events, the earthquakes in Haiti, the unparallelled winter weather in our own nation and the financial struggles that many of us face, the only thing we can rely on is the Word of God. What does the word of God say to encourage us through these unprecedented times?
The Bible is a book of Faith. Faith is at the core of all of its teaching and its precepts. Here is what the word says about faith. The just shall live by his faith. (Habbakkuk 2:4) About faith,Hebrews 11:6 says: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
REMEMBER THAT GOD IS FAITHFUL!
In the midst of all life’s circumstances we are called on to believe. Recall, what Jesus said in Mark 11:22-24. So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
So, my friends let's take God at His Word and BELIEVE!
